I thought in order to be a master electrician you had to hold both the 309a construction maintenance and a 442a industrial ticket before writing the masters exam?
Where does this leave the the current 442a industrial contractors who do 309a work? There are a lot of people with the 442a not the 309a ticket doing cont/maint and visa versa.
Machine tool has gone south in a big way and there is a large migration happening.Be advised that these tickets are now almost interchangeable.
It seems that you would no longer have to get both tickets to become a master electrician, just have a 309a and write the master exam? The reason i ask is i have the 442a and am studying for the 309a.I'm looking for a shortcut in the process here i guess you could say.
Anyway thats how i read it or have i once again confused the issues.
cheers
