CA has some various electrical related licences, and some that have incidental electrical allowances.

Outside of "Contracting Licenses" California also has a reletively new requirement for "Certifiction". (Froidian slip, but after realizing... Pun intended!) "Certification"... And that has a "residential" limited aspect to it...
