Not exactly a quote, but the strangest electrical scene I've ever seen: some Columbo movie starts with the bad guy's hands taking a mixer, cutting the cord, somehow pushing it back into the connector at the mixer, then plugging it in, running ist for a few seconds and then dropping it into a bucket of water... flash and bang! Just weird!
