For repair, you should check with your local NuHeat rep. In our area, they have a tech whose sole job is to repair in-floor heating AFTER the tiles have been laid. They can trace the bad/damaged wire right to the nearest tile, and repair it without damaging or lifting the entire floor. Tile guy comes back and pops the tile back in, re-grouts it and all is well.

I will surmise that the same concept can be done with ceiling heat?
