Bill, My biggest fight in my new job is what they put on emergency gens. However, if your hallway lights are on it, that's good, that comes under the category of "egress lighting" and is required under NFPA 101 at minimum 1 watt per sq. foot.
BUT...... let's hear it, how'd you survive? Lotsa Ice? how hot was it? How long wuz ya out?
