Took a customer a bid this afternoon.

Gave a lump sum price and outlined what the price would/wouldn't buy them.

Now they want a price breakdown, material vs. labor,because they think they can buy the material wholesale.

I already have about 8 hrs. invested so far with going to look at job,pricing materials,etc. This is for less than $8000.00 work.

I'm thinking of just giving them just a labor price for the outlined work and letting them fend for themselves on material.I don't like that type of arrangement,but I could use the work.

Of course,no assurance that I'll get it.

How much more time would you invest in this?

Tell 'em take it or leave it? Is not a MUST HAVE.
