Took a customer a bid this afternoon.
Gave a lump sum price and outlined what the price would/wouldn't buy them.
Now they want a price breakdown, material vs. labor, because they think they can buy the material wholesale.
I already have about 8 hrs. invested so far with going to look at job, pricing materials, etc. This is for less than $8000.00 work.
I'm thinking of just giving them just a labor price for the outlined work and letting them fend for themselves on material.I don't like that type of arrangement, but I could use the work.
Of course,no assurance that I'll get it.
How much more time would you invest in this?
Tell 'em take it or leave it? Is not a MUST HAVE.
