It was a volunteer fire house, which I believe falls under Twp. property and I believe one of the ex-fireman was also an electrical contractor. I guess he volunteered his time as a fireman, plus did electrical work for the station. He must of had an old 3 phase panel left over from work, and he thought he would install it in the station. Problem was, that he jumped phase lug "A" and phase lug "C" together, so that you could install twice the amount of breaker on the same leg of the single phase service. So if you looked at the service you would have thought that there was a 150 amp 3 phase service panel. When in reality there was 30 breakers on phase "A" and 15 breakers on Phase "B". There was a phase "C" in the panel but it was taped off and not hooked to anything.
