I've seen some scarry stuff in firehouses!!!
All time favorite was the "generator connection point". A piece of rubber cord (8/4) connected on the load side of the 200 amp fused main disconnect, and a male cord cap on the other end. The Chief could not understand that the prongs on the male cap were 'HOT' without being plugged into the generator receptacle!!
