A quick update and I think we can put this thread to bed, lol.
My leg has finally stopped hurting, and it seems that the clot has mostly gone away. I will be seeing a specialist at the end of the month to see if they can figure out exactly what triggered this mess.
Meantime I'm back to work, although on "light duty", and things are going well.
I again thank all who posted and read this thread, even though I have never met you all in person it was comforting to know that you guys cared!!
