Well, that's certainly a good reason for keeping the door open and exposing live parts.
Would one of you pros explain why this idea is ridiculous? Or is it?
And this is from the 50's? My folks' house was built in 1949, and had a screw-in plug fuse panel that looked a lot safer than this.
