These are readily available, buy/hire, and a 120v 60hz US tool would be quite happy on this, if a little underpowered/slow.
I have several U.S. handtools which I run on 50Hz here via a transformer. As Alan says, with the smaller universal-type motors typically used in drills, sanders, etc. it's not a problem.
