I've just been looking through the Disk Drive on my old computer.
According to Disk Management I'm only using half of the HDD capacity.(Quarter actually)
Here is what it says:
Disk 0 = 18.67 GB C:= 8.89GB D:=9.77GB
{this is the same HDD, partitioned into 2 parts}

D drive has never actually been used at all, in fact it hasn't even been formatted yet and this is the worrying bit as far as I'm concerned.
Question is, can I format that partition of the drive without wiping off C drive at the same time?.
I'm not going to touch the thing until I get knowledgable advice. [Linked Image]
It would be good to have the extra space, but if it can't be done safely, I won't bother.
Any idea's?.

Thanks,
Mike. [Linked Image]
