OK, good... I think I'll go with the DPDT relay idea, as long as the ampacity of the exhaust vent fans' circuits can handle the extra 1.8A load. If Joe (my partner) is concerned of voiding the warranty, or would rather have a contactor involved to put it on a seperate circuit, then we'll do so with the two SPST relays and a contator.
