I bet that if somebody had run electrical conduit right across the door which was needed to gain access to gas side of things, he'd be every name under the sun when the gas-fitter/plumber turned up.
Who wants to bet there's a picture of a generator with the electrical conduit run across it on a plumber or gas-fitter's Forum somewhere?
