Took me a little time to figure out why so much wood and that it that it was not only holding up the point of attachment but holding it away from the building. Not legit, but pretty MacGyverish

Situations like this are becoming a "norm" here. Seems some of the builders/GCs do not want to pay the fees to the POCO for a temp/construction service, or the Twp permit requirement & fee.

They wind up getting a Notice of Violation & Penalty for Unsafe Electrical Conditions and I make a call to cut & drop.

"How are we going to work??"

"Generator or apply for a temp service!!"
