Garden 2021

Gallery Test:

I've been getting into some gardening recent years, it's a relaxing and rewarding pastime. My daughters love the produce and the Grandkids love to come by and pick things, especially the Fruit.

Here I'm getting things ready for planting this Spring.

Last pic showing Garlic & Strawberries after the Winter and Raspberries in the far background.

Thanks,

I do a lot of Vertical growing. After the plants are established and starting to grow I have A-Frame Trellis systems that go in place to handle the vines.

I tend to over produce some things and have to tone things down somewhat. One year the Cucumbers did so well I made over 140 quarts of pickles in 5 different flavors and just had to stop and leave them on the vine.

LOL, no, just for Family, Friends, Neighbors etc. I also made over 4 Gallons of Raspberry Jam...

It was a lot of work, I won't be doing that again.

I also grow Blackberries and Strawberries, but haven't made anything out of them yet. Might try that this weekend, I have bags in the freezer.

This spring I just planted a Green and a Yellow Apple tree and 2 Peach Trees. I was psyched to see about 100 little peaches on my little tree, but then I did some reading and found out I had to remove about 3/4 of them or they would either stay small or the little branches would break. Also found out I have to prune (cut off) much of these trees next winter to make them grow properly and in the right shape. Who Knew?? dunno
