If you haven't been alerted to the Energy Independence and Security Act, passed in late '07 and going into effect Jan 1, '09, Hadco Lighting has a little handout available at:

It's basically just a run down of the Act as it affects Metal Halide Ballasted fixtures, but it gives you an idea of the price hikes and changes coming soon.

BTW, out here in Cali, we've had Title 24 in effect for some time. All you guys East and North of us, welcome to our little party!
