Thanks for the indepth response.

I am one of the pain the a$$ homeowners who likes to double check the stuff before it gets inspected.

The neutral was bonded to the box with a ground srew.

The ground wire runs from the copper rods into the bottom of the meter box, but it does not appear to go into the house. Is this NEC code or is this upto the local electric company.

Either way, it sounds like I got a good service. I should, I payed a good price. LOL I would not want to be the guy on the ladder playing with 240 volts.
