Mine arrived! Hurray!

What are the odds that, the first time I use it, I hit a nice, big, nail?

Mine arrived too. Looks nice. Still not diggin the China on the side, but as said previously free is free.

My step-dad received his too. He thought it was some scam to get him to buy more. Seems I forgot to tell him I signed him up for it when I did.

I received my bit yesterday and my friend gave me his that he received a week ago.

Thank you Bosch for the free bit. I was at OSH today and checked to see what brand bits they carried(more on this later). They carried Bosch and the 1" bit(made in China) was priced at $15 and change.

Now the reason I was looking for bits was to compare quality. I have both the ship auger and the spur auger bits. The finish quality of them is not good. They might function ok, but they are full of burrs and the cutting edges are somewhat dull and nicked. The ones in the store appeared to be finished a little better than the freebees.

Again, thank you Bosch for the freebee.

Mine came finally.... Looks good - now to try it out.

Came in a manilla envelope - had hoped for a plastic tube - keeps 'em sharp.
