Bill,
My biggest fight in my new job is what they put on emergency gens. However, if your hallway lights are on it, that's good, that comes under the category of "egress lighting" and is required under NFPA 101 at minimum 1 watt per sq. foot.

BUT...... let's hear it, how'd you survive? Lotsa Ice? how hot was it? How long wuz ya out?

C'mon Gramps, let's hear about the old days [Linked Image]
I may not be the only one.

Let me add my 2 cents here. I wish for your new grandson a very healthy and long life, and nothing but the very best.

Thanks Everyone!

It was really an ordeal for her with 39hrs of labor or therabouts. I had the easy part in the waiting room, although if I had thought about it more I would've brought a book or something. (No TV there [Linked Image] )

I was going downstairs after a nice thick (pink) Roast Beef hero I'd seen earlier, but they said she was pushing at 1:00, so OK, I'll wait. Two hours later, still pushing ... decided to go down anyway. Only Tuna left. (That was the extent of my hardship)

The power didn't go out until after she delivered and we were waiting to go in and see them. It wasn't too bad there but did start getting warm later because the AC was out. All-in-all, not really too bad though. I think the city-dwellers had things much worse.

Waymag,

Congratulations to you too! All the best to you and your Family! Be sure to tell us all about it.
