I didn't know that Colt Firearms was in the electrical business. Anyone got an idea of the vintage?

Seems to me that I have seen these in 1940's or late 30's vintage houses. I just have never thought to take pictures of them.

One of these days need to photograph the Colt electrical products I have, the only other oddity is a safety switch made by Meyers in SF CA.
