I actually haven't had my toaster wire heat on in the 5+ years I have had this system.
What is "toaster wire heat"?
Resistive electric.
I understand that sounds crazy in a place where it gets cold but not as crazy as a real furnace you never use.
We don't really have any fossil fuel available either except propane and that is pretty expensive.
