I'm try to identify the use of what appears to be a cable support/clamp.
It states "Syst Schneider Model 66 Made in Austria" on it.

I don't have the item, but was told it's about 12" long and weighs about 9 lbs.

Could it be for straightening and manipulating MICC?

Just a guess, but some type of crimper device. The shaft looks well machined, to go into the handle prt, which appears to hold cable of some type. The handle looks to have marks from stranding.

As I said, just a wild guess.

BTW, what is "MICC"

Sorry, MICC = Mineral Insulated Copper Clad, often, "Pyro" here in UK. I've no idea what it's called USA, or even if it exists there.

Mainly used in demanding industrial locations or fuel stations. I visualised the pictured device is for straightening out kinks and unwanted bends.

Here in the states it's just called MI cable (Mineral Insulated).
