Housebilding DIY wiring

When you want to build a house, and not disturb the neighbors wire drop:

Not by code here in Norway! How about NEC? or??
The 2 wire 230 V system (no neutral) just goes trough the house. They has removed one pole, and tied the wire to a tree.

Should we laugh or cry?

dsk,

This Forum area is different from any other. Technically called a "Gallery"

Apparently this particular forum type was designed to showcase a few photos and allow comments referring to the original photos. I see the original posting at the top of this (2nd) page.

With that said, there are some workarounds that can be used to add photos to this (or any other forum area) discussion.

One way is you can upload photos to our Electrical Photos site (works similar to photobucket) using the link at the top of this page and post the url here between [img] tags like this:

Code
[img]put photo url address here[/img]

Or, if the photos were already uploaded somewhere else that works too. Here are your photos from the other thread posted here using the [img] tags:

(you may have to be logged in to view these)

The other forum areas are not restricted in the ways this one is. I think there is some sort of remodel for this area in development I'll see what I can find out...

P.S. Here's some info on the Electrical Photos site, it's a bit dated, but still accurate (I think smile )

And if some worker decided it was easier to tap that line rather than go fetch an extension cord to run his circular saw, the power company would really be unhappy frown

Isn't it amazing how much work some people will go through to avoid doing things right?
