In case some of you don't know what the California C-7 license classification is, it's an electrical license that's limited to low voltage work.
Dr. Digital: You'll have to be able to show 8000 hrs of journeyman level (or above) work to get your license. The easiest way is to get a former employer to sign a statement to that effect.
I agree with Greg, in that the business and law part is for some,the hardest part of the test.
I'd recommend some kind of "Licensing School", which will teach you not only the trade part (which you know already), but the biz & law parts. There are even some of them that offer a "pass or no pay" clause.
