JV, you can be sure that the mods have watched this topic like starving cats in the hamster department of the local pet store!

It's not that EVERYTHING touching on Unions is prohibited; rather, it's a desire for this to be a professional site for electricians. As such, it's 'opinions' that can go easily astray.

The OP was not asking for a debate ... he had a technical question. Not just that, it is the sort of question one might not want to bring up with either management or the shop steward .... where else is one to go?

His question was answered with the facts he sought. The discussion stayed on-track and civil. ECN was able to do it's job.
