What do you think? A solution to too many power strips or an alternative to wall paper?

Interesting link, Thank you Ian.

Under '08, AFCI protected, tamper resistant. (Assuming resi)
IF they are all 'real'...that's one heck of an install. Some of the comments relate to quantity & a dollar amount <$8000.

Time permitting...I may do a quick count!

At least 40 circuits required if you do that in Canada. Limit of 12 outlets per circuit.

Thats unreal, but I like it!
Actually imagine if they had wallpaper like that.. Would drive some people nuts just looking for a real receptacle in a room, and the comments you would get if you say wallpapered your bathroom with it...

Just make 3-4 of them work. Spend the day finding the working ones.

Colored plates on the live ones and you can even create pixel pictures with the real outlets!

I can imagine the conversation in the chat room:
Reno: I wonder ....
The administrator: Don't even think it!
The other mods: We dare you!
Reno gives in to temptation, and asks .... ground up or ground down?
