You know, I think we've all put one more wire in a box or maybe not dug a ditch as deep as it should be, but those pics are amazing. Thanks Narrowbackpride and please keep them coming. Violation pics are one of my favorite features of this site.

Any chance of an explanation - are they all from one site? Let me see, how can I count the ways....

Even to an electrical engineer's eye (mine!) I see issues. In the 2nd picture, is that an ethernet cable coming into that electrical box? I don't think you're allowed to have other than power wiring in boxes with power wiring.
4th picture, that ground to the water pipe, the pipe material looks to be wrong for grounding, also the teflon tape doesn't help either.
9th picture, the red wire goes to an independent breaker. Usually red wire is only found in cables with black and white wires, which likely means a multiple branch circuit. Or it feeds a water heater or such, which needs the other breaker to be ganged to the first one.
In picture 11, doesn't look like that there is enough space to work on that panel.
Picture 12, I see loose wires that I think need to be inside a raceway of some sort (conduit, or romex cable or such).
In the last picture, 14, looks like the cables need better supports, ie, stapled to the wood beams. Also that light bulb looks to be too close to the insulation.

And I think they need a new meter pan.

1st pic is of an old banjo meter that was tired after 50 yrs.

2nd is a pic of sheetrockers helping by puting chime wire into DBX box.

3rd is pic of homeowner adding dishwasher off GLL circuit in UF cable.

4th is of DB concrete encased romex in a horse stable.

5th and 6th are of same wellhouse I was sent to wire it was a sheetmetal fabrcators brainchild-it was a rocketship-have mor pics of that one-just ask. Prob still that way (4-5 yr later) We have a set price for a standard wellhouse install, they did not like finding out a rocketship is not standard.

7th is pic of Comcasts mess they left me with.

8th is septic guys idea of a good joke, see my LB and J-box in the abyss? each one of those collars is 12".

9th is owners answer to big wire for voltage drop 300-400' away from house service.

10th is what i found in ditch before Svc. inspection on one of our jobs.

11th is well guys and no sense of workspace.

12th is the optional no raceway and DB for ASCR on 100 sub.

13th is how much to wire my septic? I ran the wires myself. You cant tell but the romex is poked thru a drilled hole in the collar.

14th is wacky add-a skylight framer wiring.

One thing I dont miss about 02 jobs is owners. Now I have to deal with plant sparkys and maint. guys, and dont feel so bad for dogging them hard and telling them it is unsafe and needs done right.

Nothing like trying to stuff 10 Lbs of manure in a 5 Lb bag.

The exterior rust on the panel leads me to believe it's a Challenger panel, the nice rusty finish was typical of Zinsco/Sylvania/Challenger, when they were not painted after installation
