I am looking for a timer-receptacle that when you press a button/turn on a switch will come on for say 1 hour and then go off.
My mom's getting a little forgetful and leaves the coffee pot on. I could probably make one but would rather find a commercial product that is UL listed, etc.
I've found many repeat cycle timers, but she doesn't always get up at the same time. Thanks
I agree with TWH. I see the Mr. Coffee I bought last fall price cut to $24.99 on the Target website. I set it to brew at 5AM and it shuts off 2 hours later if I forget to hit the off button before I leave for work. http://www.target.com/Mr-Coffee-12-Cup-Programmable-Coffeemaker/dp/B000BH7RNA/sr=1-13/qid=1212104632/ref=sr_1_13/601-5458923-0318523?ie=UTF8&index=target&rh=k%3AMr%20Coffee%2012%20cup&page=1 Pros: Clock seems to be fairly accurate and the electronics haven't missed a beat. Intuitive controls. Con: The carafe is one of those that tend to piddle coffee down the side if you aren't slow & easy on the pour. Joe
