The panel was in my shop,it was a Westinghouse 225A 3 phase panel made into a single phase panel using a 2nd panel for parts.Was it a good idea? NO. Was it unsafe?Probably not.Will I ever do it again? Nope,Now I am gunshy about any mods of equipment, the last pics are of the replacement panel.

I was wondering what was going on with the first pictures...it's 3PH, no it's 1PH. The wire-work is A+, you're a real craftsman.

Is that legal to make a Single Phase panel out of a 3 Phase one?. [Linked Image]

I belive when that was done the UL listing was void,another reason not to pull stunts like that.
