Yooper- I'm not sure you are correct or maybe I'm not reading your statment the way you meant it to be read. I think it says that if you want to bundle cables together or if you are using triplex or quadplex you can use them and you should maintain spacing between the bundles equal to the diameter of a single conductor, so the spacing between two bundles of 4/0 would be the equal to the diameter of a single 4/0 conductor. The spacing between the wouldn't have to be equal to the diameter of the bundle. Is that the way you understand it?
