We install the same type of systems you are talking about. I assume you are on the ComEd grid. If the systems are to be grid-tied for net metering they must meet the UL1741 spec. mentioned. As far as I know, all of the off the shelf equipment does. I recomend that you go to http://www.bergey.com/ They have the most information and best wind turbines available.
