The ICC EC does contain a few electrical requirements beyond the NEC:
Romex may be used in any building, regardless of height or construction type.
Attics and crawl spaces shall have a lighting fixture and receptacle if appliances requiring servicing are installed.
All fixtures and appliance are to be listed.
Smoke detector circuits are to be on lighting branch circuits.
Smoke control systems shall have 2 sources of power.
The door to electrical closets shall say ELECTRICAL ROOM.
Smoke alarms shall have battery backup and be interconnected.
