I wish I knew. This guy is no ball of fire so I don't expect much help. It doesn't matter now. I roughed in with PVC for the future and stopped before penetrating the vinyl siding.
Would you consider the wiring area around the terminals a panelboard? Using the definitions of a panelboard, I don't think this would be a panelboard. It does not have OC protection
