Gentlemen: Can anyone state a NEC Article that requires or required (Past Code Cycles, 1990 to 1996) that required: A "swivel" type connector if one was pendant hanging a luminare in a commercial/industrial application.
The reason for the "swivel" would be to prevent damage to the luminare or pendant if it was contacted. (It would "swing" if it was hit)
