This thing reminds me of some fixtures I had to install last week, only they were more like a real pain in the rear. Come with an funny looking hanger bracket made with spring steel, that has a hole sized for a typical threaded fixture stud like we see all the time. The fixture itself has the threaded stud bolted onto it allready. You splice the wiring, line it up and then push it up into place and the bracket grabs the threads of the stud and holds it into place. Great so far, but owner decides he doesn't like it after all. Now try and get the thing back off the ceiling. Be prepared for a mess. Coming soon to a big box store near you.
