From the looks of it (The picture, anyways), it just looks like a chunk of a neutral or ground bar from a breaker box, so I'm sure it will work fine.
As for how I know this, when I moved into my house, There was an anelectric stove circuit on a 50 amp circuit wired with #6 aluminum. At one time or another, someone decided to put in cabinets and move the stove about 30 years ago. My neighbor, the handyman, helped the previous owner move the stove outlet and he used a cut up buss bar to connect the extra length of wire. Guess he didn't have any split bolts in his coffee can of hardware.
30 years of everyday use at high current, no sign of overheating whatsoever. If my neighbor were alive, I dunno if he'd be proud or be angry he didn't patent his idea.
