I've been using DeWalt 24-volt tools for several years now. I have a hammer-drill, a reciprocating saw, and a 6" circular saw. They all use the same battery, charger, and corded battery-eliminator. I have six batteries, two chargers, and two battery eliminators.

These tools are easily as powerful as the equivalent corded models, and even stronger when used with the battery eliminator, which is the same size and shape as a battery, and has a cooling fan. The newer batteries even have built-in fans, but I haven't needed a replacement yet.

Let me see if I can find some pix. Okay, found a site. I have the top three tools, not the SDS drill, which I don't need since I have a Bosch SDS-max rotary hammer. Here's a link to some pix of the newer, fan-cooled-battery models:
