330.30 says type MC "shall be supported and secured at intervals not exceeding 6 ft." 330.30(B) says type MC "shall be permitted to be unsupported where the cable: (1) ... (2) Is not more than 6 ft. from the last point of support for connections within an accesible ceiling to luminaires or equipment. 330.30(C) says"....shall be secured within 12 inches of every box, cabinet, fitting or other cable termination.
