Another 6 months. It will become effective Jan 1, 2006.
The Spanish monolingual test deadline has not been extended, and it will be effective at the same time.

This was decided at the CAC's quarterly meeting, April 28 & 29

The CAC actually could extend this another whole year, until Jan 1, 2007, if they feel the "need". It's written right into the law.
