I started out as an alarm installer and we use to work a lot with stapling guns. You would be up on a ladder, (Not too high) and someone would staple your pants legs to the wooden ladder. You had to either reach down and yank out the staple, or pull your leg away ( without ripping your pants) in order to get down. When I worked as a electrical helper, we used RX staples for everything else. Nothing was safe, we use to staple down everything, tool boxes, tool pounches, aprons, if you were a plumber your torch was a favorite. They would staple the torch back about 5-10 feet from the tip and cover it with a rag. When the plumber tried to pick up his torch, he would just get so far and the rubber hose would snap back out of his hand.
