I suspect the motor manufactures will come out with a jumper option to change between 240 and 208 to make the stocking issues easier to deal with. I know our equipment had a 208/240 setting on the power supplies but the motors stayed the same. A common "6 wire" motor may end up being 7 or 8 wire.
