Greg, Do you have examples of this? Taping and so-forth with any joints here, does not fly at all. We vehemently hate wire-nuts down this way, because of the higher phase voltages we use (230V vs 120V). I suspect that the term "Handy Shop Tricks" may give you an indication of how well skilled some of these folks are, where near enough is good enough, until it isn't.
