Hello!

I want a light inside my closet that activates (lights up) when I open up the sliding door.
So my idea is that when I open the door, a connection breaks and allow electricity to flow to the light. Anyone here that has any thoughts on how to do this? Because I dont.. I'm very open to learn though.
The only thing I can come up with is that the door pushes down a button when it's opened to a certain level. But I found the other way to be more practical.
