Thanks for all the replies. The fixture manufacturer send me information on their fixtures, including links to UL Fire Resistive Assemblies.

In this particular case, I am the AHJ. The 1 hour fire rating is not mandated by code, but is a customer request & applies to one room only.

Few things are harder to put up with than the annoyance of a good example.
