I just read an article on them. The cost is about $8 a watt so your typical 200a service would cost $192,000 before you bought any fuel. Granted you probably don't really use 200a but that is the standard size service these days. Love them or hate them, electrical utilities can get power to your house a lot cheaper than you can make it yourself.
