Thanks for the heads-up.
I use a Fluke NC tester (not that version, mine was made in the US).
I've had mine for about 10 years and as long as you keep the batteries fresh, there shouldn't really be a problem.

A note though to anyone that uses one of these sorts of testers (or voltage indicators in general)
Under any sort of safety regime, you should be testing these devices on a known source of voltage before and after you make any sort of test of the presence of voltage.

Minimise your risk of having an electrical accident.
Some people never live to tell of such things.
