Beside the mfg instructions, and opinion, I would suggest an inquiry to the local AHJ, as he is the persom that may or may not accept the install. Knowing the ambient temp in your area, and any relevant chatacteristice of the attic you plan the install in will help (attic ventilation, soffit vents, etc)
