Just from a quick look at Windows 7, I see little difference from Vista. I have Vista on my machine and my wife has win7 on hers. I set up her PC and it looks almost identical. Some visuals are different, but the functionality seems exact.
Note: I went from Win98 to Vista. Now that was culture shock!
