I would say "no," based upon two reasons:
The first is that an 'inlet' is an inlet, not a receptacle.
The second is that inlets, by their very design, can't help but be rain-resistant. Indeed, I can't think of seeing any that would not, IMO, pass any standard 'rain test.'
